To Form a More Perfect Union
This week was one of my favorite trips of the year, what we call the “Tavern Tour”, a trip across Wisconsin to play golf and enjoy a Green Bay Packer game.
This year's trip was the best we’ve ever had, but I’ve had an empty/sick feeling in my gut since Wednesday. I was finishing a fantastic round of golf with Jeremy, Paul, and Philski when I was informed that Charlie Kirk was shot.
(I’ve never been an avid follower of Charlie Kirk, but I’m fairly well versed in the talking figures on both sides of the aisle.)

There’s good sadness, too.
It was a short week that felt like a refresher in many ways.
I continued to get great sleep and lots of exercise. Great stuff is going on with Fountain Forward and our other companies.
Our challenges are feeling more and more like a blessing and less like frivolous worry.

The Century Mark: 100 Car Dealerships
I’ve been waiting a very long time to write about this. As of September 1st, 2025 our company Fountain Forward has 100 car dealership clients on contract.
I’ve spent much of the last week reminiscing about the experiences that lead up to this milestone.
I’ve had more than a few times where I broke down as the memories replayed in my mind. I found myself leaning towards my work with Rex as I leaned into my emotions and really “be with” them.
