Manhattan Chill
I expect a lot out of people. It serves me well in many ways, but when applied the wrong way (like pushing too hard), it is not beneficial.
This has been something I’ve written about numerous times over the past three years and recently, I’ve started to dig into more objective guidelines for myself.
My synopsis:
I think I could be much better about my timing to ensure the other party knows I’m coming from a good place. I think I’ve gotten much better but I’m having big and scary conversations so they have to be well placed.

Doc Said, “Even Keel”
This week started with an important meeting for Fountain Forward. We discussed the future of the company, our current positioning in the market, and just how fast we want to invest to build technology. There’s a lot at stake in the automotive space right now and I’m pretty darn confident that we have the right team to gain a lot of market share but we have to move quickly.
That’s new for us… Seeing a vision where we need to build our own technology quickly. As I’ve said before, I have no background in technology but I’m confident in my progress over the last few months and most importantly the team we’ve built.

Searching for Love
My mind was full of thunderstorms this week. So much so that I decided to remove myself from any situation in which I thought I would be unable to be “centered.”
Do I dislike having to do that? Sure, but it was the right decision. I kept myself in isolation or around people that completely understood where I was at mentally.
That proved to be very effective. I played more golf this week than I have in months, I ate well, and I had solid workouts.
