It was a wonderful end to our Italy trip this past week. We finished up in Florence and then headed to our major wine destination, Montalcino, to try out the best Brunello in the world. I must say it is very interesting to learn so much about wine and look at how my taste buds were five years ago versus now. There are some incredible Brunellos that I have officially fallen in love with, and I am excited to say I came back with a lot of wine. 

I had a lot of fun this week with a lot of exploring. First of all, it was Amalfi, then Florence, and finalizing the week in Montalcino. It was special.

Hello from Italy! I’ve had a wonderful time thus far and I’m really enjoying my time here. I have many things I can share about Italy but what’s going on stateside is what’s currently on my mind.

Starting my writing with a little self-talk on the golf course and then getting into “real life” because all of us golfers know golf shows us where we’re really at mentally… When I was sitting in the middle of the fairway on Thursday afternoon in Scottsdale I had a reflection moment coming from my training with Rex: It’s important to remember and give yourself credit for your natural talent and the hard work you’ve done to hone your craft. It’s important for me to enjoy the beauty of my hard work but most importantly my god given abilities.
