I was able to touch a lot of different projects this week with an overall focus on efficiency through technology. My quick 24 hour trip to Dallas was very successful and also enjoyable. I love the two clients I was fortunate to hang out with! Because of where our industry is headed (at Fountain Forward) it’s necessary for me to get very educated on AI. I’m not the best at learning via research and such. I struggle with my focus. AI is also moving very quickly and the amount of applications it has for our business grows by the day.

I got a ton of work done during the first part of the week for every one of my companies but most importantly Fountain Forward. We continue to set ourselves up for future success but the short term obstacles are real and must be handled carefully. There are some very smart minds inside of Fountain Forward but we’re also looking for more. That’s an area that I enjoy but we also need our current key players to be recruiting as well.

Spent the entire week in Florida. To say the very least, I struggled to find peace this week. I was anxious, cautious, and melancholy in general. Monday morning started off with a few hours at a luxury watch show in Miami. This was the first one without my partner, Nick, attending so it had a different vibe for sure. Though I wasn’t in a great spot mentally I was able to focus for the most part.

There’s a lot going on in the world and things are moving very fast. That’s a consistent topic amongst Rex and I. The speed is engineered to keep us in the automatic decision system or, as Don Miguel Ruiz calls it, the dream.
